Tegrity Now Floats Among the Clouds at Wallace State
Late this past Sunday night, August 30, our locally hosted Tegrity Server was converted and moved to a Cloud hosted solution which is housed and maintained by Tegrity. This was necessary as all institutions who use the Tegrity Lecture Capture software will no longer be allowed to be hosted locally on campus. Among the benefits this change should bring are faster processing and uploads for faculty as they create Tegrity Recordings, and greater bandwidth and faster streaming capabilities for our students as they access and view recorded lectures.
The new URL to access Tegrity at Wallace State Community College is http://wallacestate.tegrity.com . The Tegrity Recording software that is currently installed will need to go through a quick one time upgrade on each computer used to create Tegrity Recordings so they can be uploaded to the new WSCC Tegrity Server. Below, we have prepared a short video that will walk you through this onetime process.
