As a Tegrity user, you can playback your professors' lectures from anywhere, at anytime.
There are multiple ways to view your instructors recordings. You can access Tegrity:
- on the internet.
- via your iPhone, iTouch or iPad.
- as an MP3 on any MP3 player.
- by subscribing to a podcast or RSS feed.
Below are instructions on how to access Tegrity via the internet.
Logging in:
For most, logging onto Tegrity requires logging onto BlackBoard and clicking on the Tegrity link. You do not have a separate password for Tegrity — your Tegrity account can be accessed through your BlackBoard username and password.
Clicking on "courses" to the right of your Blackboard homepage will direct you to Tegrity.
Once you've clicked on the course you want to view, your Tegrity recordings will be located to the left of your screen:
If BlackBoard is not your school's system, check with your school's help desk or technical support office for the correct login information.
Select the course where the lecture you want to view is located.
If your professor has recorded lectures, they will appear in the following screen, listed in order of the date they were uploaded.
Upon clicking on the course you wish to view, the following screen will show a series of thumbnails from your professor's lecture. Tegrity automatically divides the lecture into chapters, making it easier to navigate through the material.
Hint: The Latest Classes area on the right side of your My Tegrity screen displays the names of the last two classes that were uploaded. To view these classes, click the link for the class you want to view.
If you pause the lecture you're viewing and return back to it later, Tegrity automatically creates a new thumbnail that appears before all other chapters in the lecture. This thumbnail is titled "Resume". Click this thumbnail if you want to begin in the exact spot where you left off.
